Y’all are missing the simplest and most obvious solution to this problem. Go back to “God’s time” just like before anyone had the concept of time zones. Every day when the Sun is at its highest is local high noon. Calculate back from that to sunrise and forward for sunset. And how can anyone copalin about being on God’s time? ---

For example the “Central” zone is too wide, and “Eastern” runs too far west of where it should, all the way to Indiana. Draw better zones, then have one year-round civil time based on that. ---

I’m almost never up before 8:30AM (today was weird), sundown at 6:35PM is fine. Really, I don’t care when the sun comes up or goes down. I worked an overnight shift for a decade or so and generally loved it. Switching times never made any sense to me. ---

Here is what is really pissing me off about the looming, impending, anticipated, dreaded start of the next \<_gag_ 🤢 \> trump administration. Everyone-- businesses, business leaders, leaders of other countries, Republicans, Democrats, consumers, dogs, cats, lions, tigers, and bears-- are already running around in circles like headless chickens as if he is already \<_gag_ 🤢 \> president and wreaking havoc. The havoc is being wreaked six weeks before he is sworn ~~at~~ in. What will he do? What will he not do? How will it affect the price of eggs? The band hasn’t even on stage yet and the country is madly dancing to his tune. 😠 And don’t you know _he is reveling in it!_ I was going to post some headlines, but y’all know what I’m talking about. Grrr… ---

This is more frightening than the first time. That’s why people are going crazy. He was completely and totally unprepared for his first term. Now he kind of has an idea of how to get ready. Thus the cabinet full of bootlickers and lunatics. He’s gonna hit the ground running. With clean boots. ---
