Thanks for that, @Cervaise. I don’t understand Norwegian, but I do understand numbers. Scroll down from the posted Bluesky item for a poll asking whether Trump should get a Nobel prize. You don’t need to understand Norwegian to get it: Yes: 7%. No: 93%. Again, thanks for that. I like the idea of a “Pissy Prize” just for Trump. ---

Obama’s Nobel was undeserved, which is one of the reasons the temper tanTrump in the White House runs a deeper shade of orange every time he thinks about it. So OK, give Obama another one, make the Deluded Dopey Dotard Don even more jealous and show everyone who cares that the Nobel Prices should be abolished. The idea of an individual price for special achievements in any discipline whatsoever is so anachronistic, the Nobel Committee could just as well give the Orange Idjit all the prices this year, including literature (they gave Winston Churchill a literature price too!) and medicine (let’s say: for fighting Covid or fighting vaccines, whatever you like. Or for staying alive on a diet of hamberders: great achievement, that is). Best way to cancel itself. Close the perpetual fund, give the money to charity (and a 30% cut to trump, to top it off). Does the Nobel Committee have the _cojones_ to go down in shaming flames? I fear they do not, but I like the idea. Lemme daydream. ---
