That seems to be the way it has been for a lot of House GOP members until now as well. Several have felt safe voting against the budget or debt ceiling increases or continuing resolutions or whatever because there was always enough of a cushion not to. But with a razor thin majority, that’s not going to be possible anymore. ---

This is an unfair characterization of John McCain. His track record proves that he did and said the right things at the time that he needed to do that. While no doubt Trump would have tried the marginalization game, with some success, it is also true that more voices of reason are better than few. ---

Maybe if Stark made a special orange Iron Man suit for him with extra-large robotic hands that can easily hold water bottles and Diet Coke cans, and blasters that squirt ketchup, he’d be his bestest friend. ---
