Their scheduling probably forsaw this. I think their lineups are planned far in advance. Based on that I don’t think it’s coincidence. ---

Was listening to “Pod Save America” today and they thought the content, vibe and presentation of the inaugurals should shadow a speedy and favourable hearing for the US service staff wanting tax removed from tips. Because POTUS 47 is a kindred spirit. Transactional. If you want something done, be best buddies, get a favour or an exemption from this administration you’ve gotta tip the President. Preferably in buckets of cash. ---

Sorry to have posted this in 3 different threads, but I thought it might interest folk here. I’ve worked for a federal Agency for 38 years. Today I received this unsigned email directed to all Agency personnel: _We are taking steps to close all agency DEIA offices and end all DEIA-related contracts in accordance with President Trump’s executive orders titled Ending Radical and Wasteful Government DEI Programs and Preferencing and Initial Rescissions of Harmful Executive Orders and Actions._ _These programs divided Americans by race, wasted taxpayer dollars, and resulted in shameful discrimination._ _We are aware of efforts by some in government to disguise these programs by using coded or imprecise language. If you are aware of a change in any contract description or personnel position description since November 5, 2024 to obscure the connection between the contract and DEIA or similar ideologies, please report all facts and circumstances to [DEIAtruth@opm.gov](mailto:DEIAtruth@opm.gov)within 10 days._ _There will be no adverse consequences for timely reporting this information. However, failure to report this information within 10 days may result in adverse consequences._ Worked through several administrations. Can’t recall receiving anything approaching this. It is going to be a LONG 4 years. ---

One thing that should be noticed, as many in the media will not, is that many that worked with DEI training are women and disabled people, add then minorities and LGBTQ people working in that field, and you have the target list that Trump has used in the past. That many on that list will lose their jobs is a feature, and not a bug for him and his henchmen.
