He had previously had Lafayette Square (or the Oval?) cleared with tear gas and marching with an entourage including Esper, the Sec of Defense, and General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, both of whom later “regretted” doing so. Yet what if he did march (or ride the beast in the lead) to the Capitol on January 6th? Or whenever it was clear he was done for. With more Generals and more armed soldiers? His phantom cabinet now knows how far they can mess with the National Guard and even the Military itself on USA territory. Boundaries that Felon 45 did not know of. ---

I wonder what words I could put in your mouth if I looked through your posts and found words you’d typed but not in that order? I don’t think that is an appropriate test. The BBC fucked up badly. Sure, I suspect their frankenquote was representative of what Trump was subtely trying to say/not say. But if you read the whole transcript, the BBC did make what he said sound a lot more heinous, and they have stupidly given Trump a club to bash them over the head with. A stupid, stupid own goal. ---

Many of the National Guard troops who had been deployed to Chicago and Portland are being recalled and sent back home. Mission accomplished, evidently? I was wondering how much taxpayer money has been spent feeding and housing these folks, not to mention their ‘active duty’ pay during the deployment.
