That, is a Chihuahua, they are very sweet, loyal, and long lived companions. Our little girl lived to be 17. She died at my husband’s feet; he was her special person. I know people call Chi’s rats but they aren’t. I literally thought the poster meant a rat as many people love and keep rats for pets. It’s not my cup of tea, but there you go. ---

It was obvious within seconds that it was an AI-generated news anchor with a synthesized voice speaking counterfactual nonsense. It didn’t even have a grasp of basic facts (it named Mitch McConnell as Senate Majority Leader, for example). No one with a brain cell count above the single digits would give this any credence. If you think this simulated news report has any measurable truth value, then you desperately need to get off the internet until you have become better educated on recognizing misinformation. ---

The Spanish on-line newspaper I usually read, elDiario(dot)es, is nice to read. They colaborate with the Guardian (UK), they often translate each other’s articles and share the approach and the general ideology. What they lack are good cartoonists, which is a pity.
