How can China ban ice hockey in Canada? I doubt that Trump has any even remotely factual source for that. Sounds like he’s panicking, so he decides to make even more outlandish stuff up. ---

Regarding the Gordie Howe bridge and Trump’s stupid declaration, I think and hope that we (Canada) just basically say “ok” and block off the fucking thing until someone reasonable is in the White House. ---

Besides projection, I suspect it has to do with Trump’s narcissism. If something is important to _him_ it has to be important to everyone else, since he’s the center of the universe and its reason for being, after all. China is not Trump, and it can have therefore have _no_ purpose, interests or concerns other than either serving Trump or opposing him. ---

If Trump were in control of Canada, he would ABSOLUTELY ban hockey and award the Stanley Cup to himself in order to punish them for not being appropriately subservient to him. ---
