I think we white non-supremacist milk-drinkers will be fine if we just go on drinking milk in a normal, non-ostentatious way without making a big deal of it. Lots of non-supremacists of all races drink milk. Anyway, putting their fellow white people at some slight risk of having their milk-consuming actions misconstrued as a racist dogwhistle is very far from the worst thing that white supremacists are doing nowadays. ---

True. But they have always hacked a lot of things I love: medieval history, Celtic Studies, Norse Studies, and Classics (not so much in academia, but elsewhere), werewolves, blackletter fonts… it’s like they’re following me around and tainting all of my nerdly joys. ---

(For instance, the administration _specifically prohibiting_ Brutalism in federal building, which seems oddly specific.) I guess what would be even better is if they didn’t have an opinion either way on classical versus modern architecture, but it’s better that some of them make classical architecture part of their personality than modern. ---

I don’t know; why would he want to? If he doesn’t like the US then supporting Trump makes more sense. I would suspect that any scandalous material he has is going to be aimed at the US political & business class in general, not Trump, he’ll want Trump to stay in charge as long as possible. I am reminded of how Osama bin Laden periodically released videos whenever Bush’s poll numbers flagged, in (according to the CIA) a successful attempt to get Bush’s poll numbers up and re-elect him. The Ayatollah is more likely to help Trump than hinder him. ---
