and boy does the USA stay in practice at doing that!

But back to the ongoing clusterfuck: Here’s another brilliantly savage evisceration of this maladministration by Mary Geddry, this one kicking off from Hogsbreath’s hyper-Christofascist “press conference” of posturing and preening, as more dead come home. The opening paragraph:

> Pete Hegseth stood at that podium and did something so morally rotten, so grotesque, that it deserves to be named plainly. He took the grief of military families, the imagery of flag-draped coffins, the unbearable finality of lives cut short, and he used it as a sales pitch for more war.

I’m going to guess a pun based on “FDR,” and Trump’s love of fast food. I only figured it out by pronouncing it out loud, rather than seeing it in print, which makes it clear that it’d be pronounced Eff Dee Arr-bees. As it was part of Kimmel’s monologue, it was probably more obvious when he said it.

It occurs to me that there are delivery services in both Washington DC, and Palm Beach, Florida.

A crowd sourced massive tsunami of “hamberders” delivered to both addresses could become quite hilarious. A DDOS of hundreds or thousands of shitty burgers.

A little unkind to the delivery people, I suppose, but most of them get tipped electronically even before delivery, and they would get that from the people making the order, not the putative recipient.

And local MacDonalds franchises would LOVE the traffic, even as they keep politically neutral.

I’m having a gentle beer, and some thoughts. I am Zimbabwean, as I often mention.

One of those is that Donald Trump is a bigger arsehole than Robert Mugabe, which is quite impressive.

Both are/were (Mugabe is dead) racists.
Both are/were dictator wannabes
Both had/have very racist tendencies
Both had/have terribly insecurity, mixed into sociopatholghy.

The major difference between the two men is that Robert Mugage was a very good orator. He was eloquent and very good at countering arguments. Donald… is not.

I don’t know if you saw this, but when Trump was elected the first time, Trevor Noah was still hosting The Daily Show and [Noah compared Trump to African dictators](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIHRrGHSaX0).
