I’m traveling to Europe in a couple of weeks, but I don’t have to go through the US to get there. But about half of the group I’m traveling with are Americans, and I’m betting at least a few of them will have this BS screw up their whole trip. ---

I spent last week driving across country, because I was bringing a lot of stuff with me, including a dog, so flying wasn’t a very viable option. Thank Buddha for that. Holy shit. ---

Trump and the Assholes (Bondi, Noem, Hegseth, Miller) are in Memphis today to celebrate The Memphis Safe Task Force. The National Guard, ICE and assorted feds have been here for six months. It’s all been kept very lowkey since we are in a red state and god forbid you disrupt business. Anyway, the air has a definite sulfurous quality to it.
