It would display the title and artist of the current song on an LCD screen. The firmware in the system undersood that sometimes music publishers would list an artist’s name in the format “Lastname, Firstname”, and if it encountered that format it would correct it to “Firstname Lastname” on the display. I was in a band once, and we did a gig where the singer decided (for reasons I can’t remember) that we were going to be called MC2 for that night only. When we got there, we were billed as “Mc Squared”. ---
