For FUCK’S SAKE, how stupid can you get. For one thing, **only about a quarter of the world’s population is physically capable of giving birth to a child** , on US soil or anywhere else. The people who realistically have the option of taking a plane ride to the US are **not** the people who might be tempted to do so just to have an American “anchor baby”. The comparatively wealthy quintile of the world’s population are able to travel to the US pretty much at will, just like they always could, while the poorest people who might be desperate enough to try to wangle US residency via a “birthright citizen” American baby can’t afford the trip, just like they always couldn’t. ---
