What a fucking child. It’s not like we don’t have a mess of a war in the Middle East, or a mess of an economy with skyrocketing gas and grocery prices, or a wildly unpopular and likely illegal settlement to bribe traitors and insurrectionists, or the Epstein files, or midterm elections that are 6 months away etc… I, for one, am so glad that everything in the country is going so fucking well right now that our president has the time to compare the length of a body of water to the heights of skyscrapers. Complete with a visual aid. Because that’s obviously what’s fucking important right now. Trump: LOOK OVER THERE!!! ---

I refuse to use it, too. It is strictly Gulf of Mexico for me. That’s why I chose it as an example. Trump would likely lose his lunch if he heard someone say “Gulf of Mexico”. “Golfo de México” might even be better. 🙂 By the way, I ran across someone who was worried that if we had a big drought, the water in the Gulf of Mexico would all evaporate and there would be no more Gulf of Mexico. It’s had to imagine anyone that stupid. ---

Two nits with which I shall pick: 1. It’s not _likely_ illegal, it _is_ illegal, because it was created without express Congressional authorization. Moreover, it diverts the money from the Judgment Fund, intended for court judgments and settlements – not for congressionally-unapproved purposes. 2. It is not a _settlement_. It is an illegal slush fund. It was not overseen or approved by any court or jury. In fact, his stupid 10 billion dollar lawsuit against the IRS was on the verge of being dismissed by the judge overseeing it when he trotted out this bullshit. Trump has deemed it a “settlement”, but that’s just to make it sound more palatable to his base. It is nothing of the kind, and IMHO, it should not be referred to as such. I am otherwise in wholehearted agreement with your post! ---
