The felon continued to defame Carrol. Another lawsuit could be coming if she’s vindictive enough. And these are civil suits. SCOTUS said these were okay, unless Roberts continues to fold up like a cheap suitcase. ---

He has probably specified that none of them be invited. And they all seem pretty much done with him anyway. He wasn’t invited to Obama’s library opening. ---

While I can understand that, I have a feeling my reaction will be similar to when Nixon announced that he would (and actually did) resign: as the old adage goes, the wonderful peace that descends when you stop hitting yourself in the head with a hammer. ---

More just the tone. Starting his cadence way up here with a sort of delicate introduction and then moving away down low in the belly to market the big point. I’m just waiting for him to reach for a box of donuts and roll off the stage while he shoves one in his mouth whole. ---
