I think it is funny to try to find all the mistakes in that abomination. For starters: where is Lincoln? Why is the hour hand pointing to half past four and the minute hand pointing to twelve? Why does the helicopter have skids and a rear wheel? Why does the man in the old fashioned suit have seven fingers in his left hand, but a mass of sausages in his right hand? Why does the man on top wave a red cape when there is no bull in sight? How many suns are there, and why is the copter illuminating one? ---

Good questions, P-L, all of them. What I found interesting was the bottom line: “Patriot Pictures presents a film by America.” Whoever put this together apparently wasn’t aware of the fact that all the fine print at the bottom of movie posters (typically tall caps and extremely narrow characters) is freely available from a variety of sources. It’s “lorem ipsum” for movie posters, and I used it a number of times when Cracked ran their Photoplasty contests involving movie posters. Looked at close up, it’s just random letters and spaces, but it did the job. The designer could have got some of this, which would have lent a little bit of veracity to the poster. Lincoln on Mount Rushmore would have lent a lot more, of course. ---

Maybe that film is about Washington coming from the past to save the country from Trump, and the picture is Washington trying to pull Trump off the cliff. ---

We make jokes, because what else can we do. But this is the freaking President of the United States going on an unhinged tear, posting absolutely looney AI slop all day long. This is not normal behavior. We have a lunatic running our country. ---

Who is actually creating these images? Any speculation? Like many people, I’ve created AI images, and it does take _a little_ thought. You have to give clear instructions to the bot. There is some imagination at work in these pictures just coming up with the content-- way beyond trump’s ability to generate, one after the other. ---
