Forgive me if this has been mentioned. (Just got back from dinner.) I heard that the ‘vote’ to rename The Kennedy Center was not unanimous. Sure, all of the votes were ‘Aye,’ but anyone whom TPTB sensed might vote ‘Nae’ was put on Mute and not allowed to vote. ---

The felon’s self-adulating naming of things reminds me of three things. The first is some pulpish Science Fiction story I read years ago. I only recall it vaguely. On some planet, the entire population was redheaded and everyone was surnamed _Johnson_, the name also being used as an oath (“For Johsnon’s sake!”) The second is a scene from _History of the World: Part I_. The cavemen, after stepping in some dinosaur dung, decided the dung needs to be named. I can’t remember what they decided, so let’s go with _dlog_. As these cavemen continue their migration, they encounter an Asian man who’s fluent in English (being a native English speaker, of course). The group, including the Asian dude, encounter a huge pile of dung and the cavemen call it _dlog_. The English-speaking dude says, "It’s not _dlog_; it’s _shit_). Then the cavemen raise their clubs in his face. The guy responds, “Yep, _dlog_ it is!” Third, are you familiar with the Sadim Touch? It’s very much like the Midas Touch. In case you’ve forgotten, the Midas Touch is when everything one touches turns into gold. The Sadim Touch has everything touched turned into _dlog_. And, that my friends, is an old story which 100% accurately describes one thing the felon does regularly. ---
