I’ve been seeing lots of photos of Trump dollars on Facebook, and a large fraction of them are in really horrible condition straight out of the mint bag or roll. Here’s one example.

On some level, Trump might appreciate a Democrat majority in Congress because it means he doesn’t have to govern. On another level he might not like it as his ability to grift aswill be curtailed and a Democrat House might decide to challenge the Executive for usurping their power of the purse making his vanity projects difficult to complete.

> Also, plenty of people on fixed incomes don’t owe federal income taxes, but will be hit hard by the inflationary effects of this kind of giveaway.

And a lot of them will continue to support Trump and the GOP because they are convinced they will get a $5,000 check.

There’s a reason Trump insisted on putting his name on the pandemic stimulus checks.

>
> In the Friday, September 11 episode of _[Real Time With Bill Maher](https://www.tvinsider.com/show/real-time-with-bill-maher/)_, the late-night host, 70, took aim at the POTUS, 80, during his [opening monologue](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qKzQNWPsBw).
>
> “This really happened this week in America, which used to be a real country,” Maher began. “At the convention, he made everybody put their hand up and do a new Pledge of Allegiance.
>
> The stand-up comedian then read what Trump [had Republican midterm convention attendees recite](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3F_UkNm36cU): **“I pledge to the greatest president in the history of the United States, that loves us so much, he can’t even breathe, that I will go out with my family, my friends [to vote]. I’ll do it anyway. I don’t care if I’m registered or not. I’m gonna try and cheat like hell like they do.”**

> A Trump administration policy to detain migrants on bond without a chance for release harkens back to the mass detention of Japanese Americans during [World War II](https://www.foxnews.com/category/topic/world-war-two), a federal court said Thursday.
>
> In a 2-1 decision, the [4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals](https://foxnews.com/category/politics/judiciary/federal-courts) rejected the administration’s mass detention policy, a major part of President Donald Trump’s mass deportation agenda.
>
> “Mass detention of marginalized individuals without due process harkens back to some of the darkest moments in our country’s history,” the court wrote.
>
> Nine federal appeals courts have now separately ruled that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) new [mandatory detention policy](https://foxnews.com/category/us/immigration) is illegal, concluding it could apply to recent arrivals at or near the border but not to migrants determined to be living elsewhere within the country.

So, yes; the felon’s policy is to have our government, once again, operate concentration camps and deny those forced into them rights supposedly guaranteed under the constitution.

> Donald Trump thanked Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Gen. Dan Caine for attending his speech Wednesday at the GOP midterm convention in Dallas, even though neither was there.
>
> Trump, 80, mentioned Hegseth and Caine about a third of the way through his 106-minute speech, in which he said he would give American adults [$5,000 each](https://www.thedailybeast.com/desperate-trump-offers-brazen-5000-cash-bribe-in-bonkers-speech/) if Republicans held both chambers of Congress in the midterms.
>
> “By the way, I’d like to thank Pete Hegseth, and I’d like to thank—I’d like to thank General Caine. Where is General Caine? I’d like to thank—they’re here someplace. This is a big room. This place is packed,” Trump said.
>
> Caine, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was not in the arena. He was about six miles away at a 9/11 anniversary event at the George W. Bush Presidential Center, where he participated in a discussion with former Deputy National Security Adviser J.D. Crouch, an agenda for the occasion [noted](https://www.bushcenter.org/events-and-exhibits/a-legacy-of-service-america-at-the-25th-anniversary-of-9-11). Caine’s spokesperson, Joe Holstead, [confirmed](https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2026/09/10/trump-incorrectly-said-top-us-general-dan-caine-was-midterm-convention/) his appearance to The Washington Post.
>
> The Daily Beast also confirmed through a spokesperson for Caine’s office that he did not attend Trump’s speech.
>
> An F-16 fighter pilot with the D.C. National Guard during the terrorist attacks, Caine, 58, recalled that while tragic, the day was “also filled with beautiful examples of selfless courage, over and over again,” the Post reported.
>
> Meanwhile, Hegseth, 46, was over a thousand miles away in Washington. There, he attended a meeting of the president’s commission on the U.S. Space Force Academy at NASA headquarters, the Defense Department said in a [press release](https://www.war.gov/News/News-Stories/Article/Article/4594195/hegseth-attends-first-space-academy-commission-meeting/).

[Now he wants a giant statue of George at what’s left of the Smithsonian.](https://www.yahoo.com/news/politics/articles/trump-demands-smithsonian-build-30-165022542.html)

> [Donald Trump](https://people.com/tag/donald-trump/) wants the Smithsonian Institution to build a massive new statue of [George Washington](https://people.com/george-washington-pro-slavery-black-soldiers-revolutionary-war-documentary-11845290) in Washington, D.C., to replace a piece of historic abstract art, which he believes says “nothing about America.”
>
> The president, 80, demanded the institution highlight Washington by erecting a 30-foot “Colossus statue” outside of the Smithsonian National Museum of American History in Truth Social posts on Friday, Sept. 11. He also called for a smaller statue of the Founding Father and a five-year exhibition dedicated to his life.
>
> In the first [post](https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/117255720319253709), Trump wrote that he is asking the Smithsonian to “install a 30-foot Washington Colossus” where “Infinity,” a historic abstract sculpture, has long stood outside of the museum, overlooking the National Mall.
>
> In a second follow-up Truth Social post, he elaborated on the demand, writing: “I am also calling on the Smithsonian to erect a 30-foot ‘Colossus statue’ of the Father of Our Country outside the Museum, to replace the so-called ‘Infinity’ sculpture that stands there today.”
>
> “That strange modernist sculpture tells visitors nothing about America, inspires no one, and honors none of our Great American Heroes,” Trump continued in the post. “George Washington does. He is easily America’s Greatest Hero. Without him, our Country and our Freedoms wouldn’t exist.”

Actually, the Infinity sculpture is the perfect representation for the country today. With the felon in office, we’re infinitely screwed.
