Not from Trump’s viewpoint - he’s been itching for an excuse since his first term to turn the military into his plaything and deploy it against US citizens who don’t kowtow to him and submit like the lesser beings he thinks they are. From his viewpoint this is the excuse he needs to take over the National Guard and use it for his own ends. I don’t think it will stop with LA. I fully expect Chicago to be facing this soon, and if not Chicago then some other city or cities. ---

I have stated multiple times since January the goal is to find a reason to invoke the Insurrection Act and declare martial law in cities and states led by Democrats. It looks like we will see this happen very soon. Possibly by the end of the week. This is a wet dream for Miller, Hegseth, Noam etc. ---

Thinking it over as I was posting in another thread, it may be I heard someone say the Guard troops have assault rifles, not live ammo per se, although no doubt that’s the implication. I mean, assault rifles wouldn’t be used for rubber bullets, would they? ---

Remember, Trump is the President who wanted protesters cleared so he could have a photo op for himself and seriously asked a general why they couldn’t just shoot the protesters in the legs. I think he’s salivating at the chance to shoot people and get away with it. Or rather, order other people to shoot people without consequence to himself. (Consequences for others, of course, he either doesn’t care about or can gloat over) ---

That’s just what trump and his goons want. Farmers are complaining about the raids and this terrible awful administration is back to making children go to court with no adult there to support them. Glennon Doyle was on Jimmy Kimmel talking about this last night. These people are absolutely despicable and heartless. ---
