Trump is deploying National Guard soldiers to immigration jails in 20 states to help with processing paperwork. At least it’s nice to learn that somebody is going to be keeping records of who is who migrant-wise and what their current situation is and ultimate transport destination. I remember accounts of Trump’s 101 term when nobody kept records of all those children who were separated from their parents and the chaos that ensued. I would trust the military’s expertise in record keeping over DHS’ and ICE’s any day. ---
