Parnas has made some other allegations, such as the one that Trump personally sent him to Ukraine to look for dirt. In the absence of corroboration, I wouldn’t put too much stock in them although it’s good to be aware that this allegations are out there. I think the story of what he was really doing could be a game changer, though. ---

I don’t think it’s going to be that hard to corroborate. Nunes apparently traveled with 3 aides. At least one of them is likely to wish to avoid a perjury charge. This will be a fun distraction in coming months, one best left to SDNY to pursue. ---

This process is not complete. Pelosi is a far better strategist than anyone on the GOP side, including McConnell.
