What’s happening in the hearing? I understand the Pubs moved to adjourn as soon as it opened. One of them said there would be some shenanigans today. Like the first day of toddler camp, right? Spiders in the inkwells? Whoopee cushions? ---

I’ve heard 200 variations on the following themes: Trump was not afforded due process in the House hearings (not true) Ukraine got their funds - no harm, no foul (reprehensible) There was no quid pro quo (not true) This is a partisan attempt to overturn the 2016 election (not true, and so what?) In 1972 Nixon won in a landslide – a real landslide, not the fantasy kind in Trump’s head – and Congress had no problems with that in booting his sorry ass to the curb, 2 years later. ---
