Oops, scratch that the one I’m thinking of wasn’t the one that was MSTed, it was the later version of the same story by the same director, with a different title than the one on MST3K. and the Cary Grant movie … “Parsnips & Cold Dace”? ---

pug your guess was very close: 2001: Erase Modesty. Now here is a movie about a tribe falsely accused of eating people and do nothing else all day, the accusatory title rhyming with a classic Marx Brothers comedy. ---

I’m thinking of a movie about a sponge-like dead tree, and it rhymes with an over-rated (in my opinion) Tom Hanks movie. This next one is harder, because the movie it rhymes with is a lesser-known, obscure movie with a somewhat long title: I’m thinking of a movie about a woman with false teeth made of mildew growing on a tower, and it rhymes with an Adrian Grenier movie about a teenager living a bizarre life in upstate New York. Finally, I’m thinking of a movie about a tiny bug in its larval stage, and it rhymes with a Brad Pitt movie about pugilism. ---

Actaully Mite Grub, but close enough. Those two were pretty easy, but the middle one is pretty hard, if Ido say so myself, especially considering the fact that I’ve never met anyone else who’s seen this movie ---

Okay – I’ll give a hint as to the title of the real movie for mine; I seem to have screwed them up before so I’m about to just let out the title. anyway, the hint : ambrosia puglvr - “Man, I love the grapes?” Thought of another one while I was sitting here – it’s a movie about the author of _Two Years Before the Mast_ failing to sink a U-boat that was cold due to frozen water that had fallen from the sky, and it rhymes with the stories of a group of Cuban musicians chronicled by Ry Cooder (filmed by Wim Wenders). ---

Yes! that’s even better than what I was trying to come up with to rhyme with ‘social’(I was thinking snow-chilled). It was a great movie. just noticed this morning they’ll be showing the movie tonight on the Sacramento public station (KVIE). I don’t think I’ll be able to pick it up, though. I’ll be trying. I feel like mine’s going to be a letdown after all this. The clue to the title has to do with the origin of ‘ambrosia’; and match that up with one of Burt I.'s films [at the IMDB.](http://us.imdb.com/Name?Gordon,+Bert+I.) I also noticed that Mr. Gordon came from Kenosha, WI, the hometown of Orson Welles . . . I like that with your ‘dammit’ one, there could be sequels, where he exhorts his friends and neighbors : Matt L. Forth, dammit, Love the Grapes! Peter N.
