Not to worry anyone, but Twisty’s taken a bad turn and is presently in St James Hospital here in Dublin. He is OK and should be out tomorrow, so no need to panic. Seems just to be an infection of some sort. Nothing major. But I thought this would be a good time for us all to think about what a special person he is and to let him know. I hope by now that John knows how very special he is to me and how much I appreciate all of the friendship he’s shown me since I’ve known him. Get well soon, John! Well, now this is awkward. I’m used to bossing **Twisty** around and demanding he perform his bitch duties in a timely and precise manner. And now I have to get all mushy and soft and admit that I miss him. Not only that, but I have to send him good thoughts and wishes that he get better soon. **Twisty** , get back on your feet in a hurry, young man. That’s an order! (I am _not_ going to be reduced to sending cards and flowers and cute stuffed animals. That’s where I draw the line.) 😉 ---

We’ll have none of that - you get well and get out of there. I’ve heard that the Kilkenny brewery is considering layoffs due to a drastic decline in sales in the Greater Dublin area. And don’t hit on the nurses. Sure, it sounds good in theory, but it’s always a bad idea to press advances on someone with a thermometer and license to use it. Seriously: Get better, that’s an order. Just to keep you guys up to date, I’ve just spoken with him and he sounds OK and will hopefully be out of hospital later today. Thanks to everyone for your concern.
