I don’t know if I ever had dreams - I wanted to be able to support myself, and after working as a waitress and bartender for many years I realized I needed a career where I used my mind more than my body. I was able to go to college, graduate, and establish a sucessful career, so that was the most of it. My husband and I would like to move to a different area (next county over), which is a dream of sorts, I reckon. He pines for it much more than I do. I am very content with where I am at 50. Maybe my dream is for things to stay manageable for us. ---

My dream is to feel safe knowing my SO (who in my dream is my husband) of seven years and the father of my child can move about in society without being treated like a piece of garbage just because he’s one of them EElegals. What’s stopping me? I don’t want to move to another country any more than he does. ---

Funny that the pilot’s license should come up so quickly. I’m a professional flight instructor, and I really want to solo a jet fighter / trainer. Not an airliner - I could do that with just a little luck if I landed the right job, and be paid for it. I want to fly something like an L-39, MiG 15, F-86 or T-33, solo as as pilot-in-command. Although I’ve never been in the military, I have on a few occasions flown some of the “warbirds” that I covet, but always with an instructor. Actually getting rated in one and finding myself in a position in which I could solo it would take a truly obscene amount of money.
