Well, maybe not for all time… Lets compile 13 or 14 tracks… single CD… any genre is acceptable, but ideally the tracks form a cohesive set of music for a good ride, and when repeated, doesn’t feel “old”. There’s no “skip ahead” tracks. Ideally, no particular track would be overly offensive and all should elicit a " could you turn that up please" from just about anyone. My first nominations are: 1.) Flirtin’ with Disaster 2.) Train, Train 3.) Radar Love ---

“Brand New Cadillac” – The Clash “Roadrunner” – Jonathan Richman & The Modern Lovers “The Big Country” – Talking Heads [Granted, not only is this one about _flying_ cross-country, it’s very snarky about our nation’s big midsection. Good song, though.] “Middle of the Road” – The Pretenders “Fun, Fun, Fun,” “Little Deuce Coupe,” “I Get Around,” or “Good Vibrations” – The Beach Boys “Hit the Road, Jack” – Ray Charles “Love Rollercoaster” – The Ohio Players [Hey, it was never literally about rollercoasters anyway. Hope that your road trip doesn’t turn into “bumper cars,” and play this one in hilly country.] ---
