YO! I have a boat, too and also a yen for chocolate. You can keep the dark (choc), though–I only like that with other things. Never mind. **Swampy** --you _stole_ a coffee maker from the Boy Scouts? How mean is that? BS have coffee makeers? They must have changed since my brother went thru–what’s next? espresso machines in their backpacks? 😃 I don’t like coffee and I don’t drink it. I’m a tea girl-hot, iced, lukewarm cause I forgot I made it. Black pekoe tea, but also Earl Grey. I hafta work tomorrow. It better rain. I have spoken-make it so. Very well said. For your proper spelling of buses, I will permit it to rain in the southland while us far-western burbanites enjoy sunny skies. 🙂 OOh. I hate “busses”. My secretary spells it busses. My boss spells it busses for chrisakes! I’m not kissing you, I’m describing a multiple of a bus. Grrr. ---

Before I was in your neck of the woods, I was at 91st & Princeton, just off the Ryan. Dang. Small world, but I’m still glad i don’t have to sweep it. ---

Guess what! The trash people just “trashed” another dumpster! I swear it’s like demolition derby when they come to pick up the trash. Now I gotta call the trash folks about getting another brand new shiny dumpster. Something tells me the trash folks need to do some serious training on how not to run over dumpsters with trash trucks or some drug testing. It entertains me at least. ---

I wasn’t very productive with working on my undergraduate thesis yesterday, but fortunately I did manage to get my homework done. So, I have an 8:00 class Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last night, I planned to make sure to get at least 5 hours of sleep, so as to remain awake in class. My plan, however, was thwarted by someone setting popcorn on fire. Again. So I got to wake up, scream at my roommate (I mean that literally- the girl does not wake up for anything- she has been responsible for us failing many a fire drill when I haven’t been there to get her up), throw on pants, and go outside. And wait. And wait. Until finally the firetruck showed up, removed the burnt popcorn, and we got to go upstairs. Of course, we were all wound up, and couldn’t fall back asleep for ages. So, if anyone would like to write up a funny, “how to make popcorn without summoning the fire department,” please, be my guest. I may print it out and post in anonymously all over the dorm. On the bright side, at least we got to watch a movie in class this morning!
