[Oscar Trivia](http://academyawards.20m.com/trivia.htm). (First, Most, Least, Oldest, Youngest, etc.) _Tip_: Technical awards are not given out at the televised ceremony. Nor are they given for individual films. Cinematography, editing, sound, sound editing (i.e., sound effects creation), and visual effects are _artistic_ awards, not technical awards. Let’s go! ---

I’m looking forward to see how Chris Rock gets on. I’ve taken tomorrow off (I do this every year) as it finishes at 5:30am here. Good grub in the oven, lots of Guinness in the fridge. I’m ready. ---

The women are all so _pale_ – don’t they ever go outside? So far my favorite dresses are being worn by Virginia Madsen, Beyonce, Hillary Swank, and Helen Mirren. I was annoyed all over again when they replayed Halle Berry’s acceptance speech from last year. :rolleyes: Leo looks all grown up. 😛 ---

I thought Chris Rock was okay, but he went on about Bush far too long. Why did he get a standing ovation? (Or maybe they do that every year, and I’ve never noticed before?) Agreed that Rene’s hair is much too dark. Yikes. Like the dress, though. Ah, Morgan Freeman. Classy, brief, to the point. Nice. ---

I liked Rock. His meanness to the other celebs makes it quite like a Brit award do. Halle was HOT, Renee was not. Delighted Freeman won. He was great in MDB. ---
