**{{{gotti}}}** As far as advice tl the newly widowed, from experience, I would tell you that you’re in for som sucky days. Lean on those who love and care about you (the MMP counts 🙂 ). The sucky days will become fewer and farther between at some point and you’ll begin to feel human again. YMMV. I got my photos back. There are some really interesting ones in there. I also noticed that the pics of my dad tend to have been taken by someone with less photography skill than the ones I assume Dad took. 😛 ---

Said cabinet weighs 485 pounds and cost more than the average person’s first car. The sewing machine sells for as much as a basic new car. My task now is to hope there’s someone in the area that wants the combo. First $11,000 takes it and a couple hundred spools of embroidery thread, and that would be at a loss. Plus, there’s the serger that threads itself. Think he managed to use it for ten minutes. Too tired to sleep yet. I ended up working 11 hours out of 12 ---------- and basically I’m just getting too old for this stuff. But several glasses of a fairly good concord is helping. ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. _YAWN_ 'Tis 71 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 93 and rain/tstorm/apocalypse this afternoon. Same for tomorrow and Moanday. We shall see. Plans for the day include a trip to :eek: Wally\*World :eek: to stock up on stuff and N.O.L. at the Shakey Snake. Did my morning refereeing, managed to get all but the last 3 minutes in before the rain started. I also ripped the front sole of my shoe, so went to the Sports store in town right after the game and bought two new pairs of shoes. Since the old ones lasted nearly 6 years of refereeing, these two sets should see me through. Now waiting to see if the rain turns to tunder-boomers before 3PM, when my second game for the day is scheduled. ---

Happy Saturday! I couldn’t sleep last night so I got up and logged in to irk. Then I went back to sleep, lots of weird dreams and feeling spacey. It looks cloudy outside, but I haven’t opened the door and stuck my head out yet. I need to go to the cvs and get my pills. I’m going to make a pot of meatballs later. If it doesn’t rain then I need to water the seeds I planted yesterday. I had a bag of wildflower mix and one of hummingbird/butterfly mix. Thru self-diagnosis, I think I’ve determined that my arm pain is due to a pinched nerve in my neck. I’m wearing one of **FCD** ’s old cervical collars and it seems to be helping. Both of us had bad nights and went back to bed after waking, then to a very late breakfast at the cafe. We had a brand new server (2nd day on the job) and he can only get better, right? His math sucks - for an order of pancakes, french toast, and 2 sodas, he came up with $29. Blamed it on the calculator… Whatever - it was more like $17 in the end… I just finished emptying the dishwasher and tidying the kitchen. Somewhere along the line, I need to finish cleaning the smoker. All I want to do is sleep. I’m sure the dreary day has something to do with that. Happy Saturday! ---
