**(((((gotti)))))** Congrats, **Meeks** - wishing you a long and happy marriage! Belated happies, Wet One - I assume they are belated because I’m on this side of the pond so I’m always behind on this sort of thing. Hope **FCD** is feeling better after his surgery, and rosie has less of a blurf today than yesterday. Other than that, I am up, sheveled, caffeinated and at irk. And I am irked. Various things are irking me today, most of them related to exams but nothing I can really do a lot about right now. I am not sleeping very well, or very much, so that isn’t helping my levels of concentration and my general disposition. Bah. At least next Friday my exam board will be over and perhaps then I will feel a bit better. ---

Up and functioning a bit better today. I was in bed before 9, but I didn’t need Mel. I took half a dose of Nyquil because I was still coughing, and I crashed. I woke once, then finally got up at 5:30-ish, feeling almost human! Higgs slept on the recliner (alone) last night - there doesn’t seem to be a reason to crate her - maybe we can just get rid of the crate. So far this morning, I’ve fed the dog, put the greasy smoker components into a sink full of hot, soapy water to soak, stripped the guest bed and tossed a load of sheets into the washer, dressed, and breakfasted. After I hang the sheets out and scoop the cat box, I’ll be heading to the hospital to rescue my sweetie. Gotta remember to take his clothes… After I get him home and settled, I need to make a run to the convenience center - our trash cans over-floweth. And I’ve got to drop off his prescription for percocet. And make sure we’ve got enough waterproof bandages so he can shower as he heals. I’m sure I’ve forgotten something. I’ve been up an hour, and already I’m exhausted!!! I’ll be glad to get back to work tomorrow where I can relax! Still, Happy Wednesday!! ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. _YAWN_ 'Tis a very hyooooooomid 72 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 91 and maybe rain this afternoon. Or not. We shall see. **MOOOOOOM** here’s hopin’ FCD gets sprung early this mornin’. I am slackin’ a bit this mornin’ because I’m headin’ to the extreme north forty today. I need to be there at nine a.m. and ‘tis easier to leave from da cave which I don’t need to until around eight. Thus bein’ a little bit of a slug first thing. I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. I also need to commence purtification for irk shortly. Alas and alack. Happy Hump Day Y’all! ---

Happy Hump Day! According to my phone it’s sunny outside; according to my window, it’s not. Looks like the temps are going back down into the 70’s the rest of this week, so we can turn off the AC. It’s supposed to rain tomorrow and Friday - just what we need, more rain. Today is grocery shopping day, and to finish up what we started out back. I’m glad **FCD** is feeling better and coming home today. I need to get some breakfast and then get to irk. ---

Well, social summer has started. Unlike everyone else that asserts this happened Monday (Memorial Day), I say it was actually 8 PM last night. I gave my 2 elderly, harrumph-o-matic Boxers flea baths. The fleas on both died in waves and could be seen floating in the bath water. :eek: ---

At irk and have done inventory which is the only time sensitive chore as it must be done prior to any sales for the day. I have to go to a mandatory Suicide Prevention class. Who was the genius who scheduled this on a 1st? After the class I have almost a million other EOM things to do. I have not even cranked up my network computer yet as I know there will be tons of junk mail to wade through. The class is at the Mother base and starts at 0930 so it will have to wait. Here’s hoping **FCD** gets sprung early from the horsepistol. And he will be pain free. Rosie’s sig to all including **Rosie.** ---

99 degress amurkin yesterday. That’s just plain wrong. Close to 90 today, then back up to about 100 for the next few days say the TWPTB. I do not like this. Nope, not at all. I got all the paper irk in to the disability folks, so my claim lives on for now. Girl child, who finished school last week, has her end of school dance this week. It will semi-formal-ish. Guys must wear shirts with collars and no shorts and girls must wear dresses. So, just when I thought it was over for the year, I must dive back into middle school. I dared her to wear jeans and a polo shirt, which is apparently fine for half the attendees, but, no.:roll eyes: To Targay I will go. **MetalMouse** I was swimming about 30 years ago after dark at a campground on a family road trip. I surfaced too close to the edge of the pool and fractured my teeth, exposing the nerve on one. I held onto them this long anyway, but I finally caved and got new. ---

If I had to do inventory for a regular-sized store, I would definitely need a Suicide Prevention class right after. We’re home!! I can’t believe how much better he’s doing than after his previous surgeries! He just ingested a pile of bean burritos - um, yum? I’ve got some afghans in the washer and once I get them out on the lines, I’ll take the trash and recycling, then drop off his prescription at CVS. I need to finish cleaning the smoker components - icky mess in the sink! So much for my last day “off” - yeah, right. 😛 ---
