It was definitely Obama’s fault! Trump does the opposite of what Obama does, and must unravel everything Obama set up. See, if Obama had handed the Ebola thing poorly, Trump would have handled this well. If Obama hadn’t set up a pandemic response team, Trump would have set one up, just to do the opposite of Obama.
So, by being a competent, non-corrupt, well prepared president, Trump, ipso fatso, has to become the opposite.

Last weekend my house caught fire.
As a Republican, I responded by taking to my front lawn and holding forth for two hours about how it was really the house across the street that was on fire, and what a crappy house that house across the street is,wondering aloud if so-called “fire” is actually even a thing, and giving myself 10/10 for my house only being on fire a little bit.
Then I ran into the blazing structure to install batteries in some of the smoke alarms, and to accuse Obama of stealing the old batteries, which I uninstalled, myself, back in 2018. Who can stand all that noise?
Finally, I put out some of the fire on the front porch that was visible from the street, and, ignoring the fact that the rest of my house was fully involved, ordered my wife and kids to move back in.
I blame Democrats and foreigners for the heat and smoke.

Oh definitely. I don’t think rural people are inherently stupid, it’s just that RW media has created a bubble there that stokes fear about other people, and carries with it genuinely stupid policy positions.
What is needed is a way to completely disconnect those misinformed and incurious dipshits from Russian propaganda. If right wing media ceased to exist, they’ll simply find another way to spread propaganda.
