The use of profanity in formal meetings.

Just yesterday, a woman I work with said on a conference call, “if they don’t like it, they can suck my dick.” It was awesome.

It doesn’t happen where I work. I am startled even by a very occasional “shit” and know who uses it, it sticks out so much.

That said, we’re counting down the hours till a super-incompetent boob changes jobs, and an few choice words have been thrown around in private one-on-one conversations.

When meeting among other engineers and machinists, it has been unusual not to hear any profanity.

“Let’s grind a red cunt hair off that motherfucker so it’ll fit in the god damn jig better.”

Yeah, that sort of thing.

Rarely, used for emphasis or when surprised by something. Never casually.
