As far as future books. Bujold is working on a Vorkosigan novella. It’s now past due which leads me to suspect she may have decided to expand it into a novel.
Well yeah, but that took place before Cryoburn so anyone reading in chronological order is going to end on one of the saddest scenes in the series. At least for now, thanks for the good news!
Where did you see that? She has been answering questions on Goodreads (for instance) recently, and she says she has nothing in progress at this time.

There’s some fannish discussion of the possible new novella here, including posts from people who say they’ve heard her read bits of it, but since the thread is two years old, it may well have stalled out or been abandoned.
Huh. Now she says today that there will be a new book published in February about Cordelia, called Gentleman Jole and the Red Queen. No information about it except that “It is not a war story. It is about grownups.”
Bizarre title, but I love the Cordelia books, so I will look forward to it.
