Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ 'Tis 36 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 60 for the day. This is desribed as cool and dry weather. Oh and gonna be near 80 on Sattidy. Go figure. Morning, all…it’s still morning here for another minute! I met my replacement for this job yesterday, she’s very nice and I think she’ll soon have this dept knocked into shape. In a bizarre twist of fate, it turns out that I’m actually going to cover the position in the Law School that she’s vacating so that will be a laugh. At least I know who to phone when I need help. In other news, I’ve almost finished my timetables and am intending to get them published for the students by the end of the week when I leave. That will be a significant achievement considering the mess that they were in when I started here two months ago. Hurrah! And it’s pub night tonight too, that’s something else I am waiting for. ---

Yawn. Good morning, everybody. The roads are clear(ish) and not very icy, so that’s a start today. I’m thinking we’re going to have one of those winters where we run out of salt. Whomever is in charge of birthdays (who or whom? Crap. I _know_ the rule, but I can still never get it right), please remember that I have one coming up. **Rosie’s** usually pretty good at that, and Facebook will remind her. 🙂 I’ve got a massive case of the donwannas today. I don’t expect improvement until January. ---

Happy Hump Day! It’s a sunny 30 degrees with a projected high fo 38. It’s supposed to get up into the 60s over the weekend, we’ll see. ---

Blurf. I might be working outside today, and really don’t want to be- it’s really windy, with on-and-off horizontal rain, and I’m not going to be wearing anything properly waterproof. Hopefully the event will wind up mostly or entirely inside, and it’ll be OK. I’m having a biig roast lunch/dinner (what does one call a large meal eaten at about 3.30pm?) in the hopes it’ll keep me warm. It shouldn’t be a late night at least. ---

I have everything but the clothes pins but I added my linesman’s pliers to the list :eek: Seriously get it removed before **Flytrap** and I decide you have hurt enough. Howdy from da cave! So glad to be here. ‘Twas a really ummm… irky irkday. Folks not behavin’ a week before Christmas even! Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! Dindin shall be salmon patties, _English_ peas, smashed N.O.T. and bizkits cause it’s easy and I need me some southern food of the comfy sort. Tonight is also Evening Prayer over to the chruch house which I always enjoy. The MMP has everything up to and includin’ health care! 😃 Laterz! ---

_squelches in_ It was outside. Mostly. It rained cats, dogs, lions, (it was at the zoo), and even the ducks were taking cover. The car park was _flooded_ by the time I left. I’m back there tomorrow, and I don’t care if my coat doesn’t technically meet the uniform regulations, I’m wearin’ it. ---

I survived my day, even tho I had to beg for work. Missy Prissy was whining about having to come in on her day off, but somehow she doesn’t have anything for me?? Well, she will - the boss told her she can’t work on her day off and she’d better give me things to do, so yay. Supper will be burgers and steak fries which are in the toaster oven, um, toasting… 😃 \*\*doggio \*\*- actually, I’m the closest to \*\*BBBobbio \*\*- maybe 20 miles?? But I ain’t no nurse. 😛 Altho, scrubs do look comfy… Time to warm up the George Foreman - I’s hongree!! ---
