Rebar is pretty heavy stuff and bends moderately easily. A more muscular person might be able to wield a rebar spear without tiring and without having their movements slowed too much, but (even as said muscular type), Iā€™d go for a sharp object like a chefā€™s knife bound tightly (even glued or welded) to a length of 1-inch conduit. Substitute 1-inch Sched 80 PVC for a smaller person. ---

I noticed that, too. ā€œJust donā€™t swing that thing my way - I can also cut a bitch.ā€ I think the ultimate zombie fighting weapon is the one they invented in the book ā€œWorld War Zā€ - short, light, sharp, strong, re-usable. I think a really sharp, long screwdriver would also work for those of us who donā€™t want to carry rebar around. ---
