(I find that watching the Talking Dead is almost mandatory if I want to learn of the bits and pieces that the editors and directors left out of the aired story.) In the movie version, Butch and Sundance appeared to be barely competent, but sweet, bank robbers. The best of their plans repeatedly failed. My best guess is that Rick and Daryl didn’t take both vehicles because Butch and Sundance didn’t split up. IMHO, of course. 😃 ---
