Not as good as the previous couple of episodes. I think it’s just that Maggie and Sasha are duds as characters. But still not bad. Much more of a place setting episode. ---

Not bad. At least the Degradation Porn wasn’t laid on quite as thick in this episode. Gregory is truly awful. Maggie was right on the money when she said he was dangerous - he tried to sell them out, and he’ll try again. I’m not sure how Maggie and Sasha can stay at Hilltop with him there - they’ll never be safe. Not really advancing the plot much except now we have two idiots figuring they can take out Negan without a plan. I guess next week we get to see what Carol has been up to. ---

This show really needs to end or get some new writers. All they do is sit around and whine about how bad things are. They are soooo stupid, after all they have been through, you would think they would know how to take care of themselves. Some won’t fight for anything and the others are A-holes. The moron Carl wrecks a car to pop one walker and has to hit it twice. The stupid girl sees a puddle of blood ( I guess) on the ground and instead of looking around she stares at it and the walker comes out of nowhere. This pack of idiots would not last for 10 min. ---

My husband and I have had this discussion more than once - yes. the comic is the origin of this series, but you’re a major network tv show now - you need to step up your game. So was that the Saviors showing the residents of Hilltop who was boss or was that the Wolves at work? Because the tricked out car blaring music to attract walkers is a tactic we’ve seen the Wolves use but isn’t something Negan’s group has done. Gregory was the one who brought up the message from last night being loud and clear and it looks to me like Simon just rolled with it. ---

Four idiots, if you count Maggie and Sasha. Still, better than just waiting for Negan to show back up and bust some heads because your tribute is lacking like some other idiots. Pouring out the scotch was a nice touch, but I might have left a single swallow in the bottle for Simon to explain. Or toss the bottle in the ditch and grab it on the way home. Hilltop, suspected of colluding with Rick’s crew to off some Saviors, seems to have gotten off pretty easily for their crime. You’d think Negan would want to mark his territory with a little more than a “take half your stuff” move. Another dumb move - Rick knew Negan was coming to take half their stuff, he had to assume this meant guns. Burn the ledger, stash half the guns, you had 3 days. That way Negan gets 1/4 of your guns sans any Caaarll stupidity, or 1/2 at worst. Starting to remind me a bit of Lost. Still entertaining enough to watch the next episode, but no real hope that it’ll ever regain its first couple of seasons glory. ---

The Saviors way outnumber Rick’s group at Alexandria, they are at least as well armed and they are a lot more motivated. And I don’t get a sense from what I’ve seen or read about the character that Negan is a tactical imbecile (unlike Rick). He showed up early, so whatever preparations they would have had wouldn’t be ready. And I’m sure Negan has scouts watching Alexandria and maybe even snipers and backup teams hidden in the woods in case something happens. How many fighters does Rick even have left? It’s mostly soft-ass Alexandrians now. And keep in mind, Rick knows nothing about the Saviors except that there are a shitload of them armed to the teeth, they are violent as fuck and they follow Negan like a cult leader. Best case scenario, they ambush Negans forces while they are still in the trucks, kill Negan, hope the surviving Saviors don’t retaliate, but also loose Daryl. Worse case, they make a very loud and heroic last stand before Alexandria is blown to shit.
