He found the barn walkers, he was pissy to Rick when they were leaving the prison, He ran off and got grabbed by Negan. He stirred shit up with Enid out in the woods. He fought with and pissed that kid who shot his eye out. He got bit disobeying Rick and going after that young Doctor dude. ( these examples may not be in their chronological order) Oh yea, he also got shot at the farm by being stupid. I liked the character but he was a fuck up. ---

We’ve seen people amputate a limb that was bitten and survive that way. That’s what happened to Hershel’s leg. I expect that with a decent intensive care unit, zombie bites might be survivable, but there is no intensive care any more. So in practice, all zombie bites are considered to be fatal. Even if they’re not, the characters on the show _believe_ they are. ---

"3a) No one in the main foyer, where is apparently where almost everyone who isn’t a main character sleeps in a giant hamster pile or some shit, can wake up even when a zombie falls down an entire flight of stairs located in the same goddamn room. I have become enraged again just typing that. I had to watch it three times just to make sure I was seeing it right. A zombie falls down a full flight of stairs, lands mere feet away from a group of 15+ sleeping people, and none of them wake up until the zombies all get a chance to eat somebody first. (To put in role-playing game terms, they all get a free attack.)" ---

The Saviors didn’t even bring guns, and still key persons escaped. That doesn’t seem right. As much as these people shoot they should be able to hit their target more accurately. ---

Tactics continue to be an area of real challenge for these folks. What would the thinking be behind letting an attacking force into your perimeter, and also providing them with a bus to give them cover and obscure their entry? And again, in terms of depicting what is going on during a fight, we get lots of close ups of people popping up from behind cars without a good sense of who is who, where they are and what their objective is. Also, the cliched ninja zombie who comes out of nowhere and catches people from behind. Why are they sleeping strewn on the floor with the door open? Good thing the one zombie fell down the steps quietly, so as to not wake anyone. There is no reason for the writing to be so stupid. ---

And now we have to believe that zombie guts are such a deadly brew that getting any into a break in your skin is a death sentence. And that after years of dirty, scraped up people fighting zombies, being buried under piles of zombies, smearing themselves with zombie guts as camouflage and walking around without gloves or any extra protection, this is the first time anyone was infected. This isn’t just comic-book suspension of disbelief. It’s plain bad writing.
