I’m pumped up. Apparently the zombie attack on a bunch of Pan Am stewardesses early in the first ep is flat-out awesome. ---

Since the first one aired I’ve read the graphic novels. I really hope they deviate from them even more than they already have as even by the standards of zombie-lit they’re some of the most violent and goriest books I’ve ever read. I particularly hope they minimize Michonne’s ordeal at the hands of the Governor and the battle for the prison But I’m still looking forward to the premiere. I was at a Halloween store tonight and they’re selling an officially licensed Deputy Rick Grimes costume. > [@El\_Kabong](#): > > I’m pumped up. I, too, have read all the comics since after the first season aired. And, yeah, I can’t imagine the show going to some of the _ **really** _ dark places that the books do. Looking forward to Sunday! ---

I received the first compilation of the graphic novels as a gift, but haven’t read them all because I am really struggling with it. I don’t read graphic novels, and I’m having a hard time, and I don’t know why. So I am going to keep myself from clicking on that spoiler, **Sampiro.** ---
