The landlord who has a shop next to mine bought a box of 3 spray guns labelled as HVLP from Costco at an unbelievably low price. These high volume low pressure spray guns have been around now for about 15 years or so and are now pretty standard. More air, less air pressure. Much less overspray(waste, healthier and better finish) The reputable manufactures started this product and now there are dozens of knockoffs.
They really looked nice and I considered getting them myself. But as I examined the information on the box I read in smaller print, “High Velocity Low Pressure”.
Well, as a large, nearby thermal mass at a low temperature, there is undoubtedly a net radiated heat transfer from you to it. It’s not entirely unreasonable to describe this as “sucking the heat away”, although it makes the process sound a bit more active than it really is. Both you and the freezer are in fact radiating heat; you are just radiating much more of it to the freezer than it is to you.
However, I suspect what you are probably noticing most is cooled air shedding off the opened face of the freezer, and convecting towards you.
Projammer, you must find electrical current conventions absolutely infuriating.
