I think this war is the right thing, and I’m glad it’s going well. However, I think how we got here was utterly pathetic and mismanged. However, what makes me pause is that I question whether any other _plausible_ presidential candidate would have been driven to push us into this war. So maybe the choice wasn’t between getting to war right and getting there ineptly. Maybe it was between getting there ineptly and getting there at all. ---
