Happy Thorsday! It’s a chilly 49 degrees with a high of 58 predicted. I haven’t lifted the shades yet but it looks sunny. I have lots to do. One thing is order a rug because doggie toenails on the hardwood floor are making me crazy. ---

Thanks for the link to the vid about dog slippers, **doggio**! That was so funny!! Amazingly, nearly all of the dogs seemed to have the same reaction to the slippers, as well as a lot of trouble trying to walk in them! I’m also enjoying the jokes, please keep them going. LOL I’m not much of a contributor, though, I don’t seem to have the knack to make them up like some folks do. 😃 ---

Howdy Mumpers! I survived and am now being [del] babysat[/del] cared for by my nephew and two little dogs. 🙂 While in the hospital, I saw pigeons and sparrows outside. Here it’s sparrows and starlings. Not a huge variety whenlooking out the window. ---

Sigh. I will not be home for Halloween. I have been notified that my great aunt has died and the funeral is November 1, near LA. I will be on the road for Halloween. The kids (in their thirties) will be home to hand out the glow sticks, though. They had better take pictures. I will also miss the kickoff meeting for nanowrimo, although I may scype in to say hi. On the up side, I found out soon enough to bag the frantic rush to get the costume done. ---
