Whooo for cleaning! **{Sticks and Scones}** I married a badger. No, really. Ok, not REALLY, but he is badger, through and through. His life-long game name apparantly basically means ‘badger’, or it’s some foreign word for badger, or somewhat. He’s thoroughly salt and peppery like a badger, he’s grumpy when poked, he’s grumpy when NOT poked. What they don’t tell you about badgers is that they’re suckers for anything that’s cute or needs help. Big daddy badgers. 🙂 (Ok, that’s all probably just MY badger. But who knows? 😃 ) My little nekked puppy is about 4 months old, which is why I was so impressed that he did so well at the groomers. I have a pretty bad-quality video of him and his 3 brothers playing together; I will try to load it anyway, just so people can see how fluffy he was before, lol. 🙂 No food set well last night; stomach still kinda feels like heartburn or somewhat, so…yay, coffee! I know, that probably won’t help, but I want some anyway 🙂 ---

Pickle Day is done, and I’s tahred. I think a celebratory nap is in order. The toll: 7 quarts dill pickles, 5 quarts pickled blossoms, 4 pints green beans, and 5 half pints garlic. Oh, and one broken jar, empty at it’s demise. ---

Howdy all and Happy Sunday Have been a little busy, Sister is a having Twin Boys and the Fam has all been in town getting ready for the Baby shower etc Got the call about 5 last night to go to the Casa De Rock and fill in for the no call/no show, arrive about 5:45, 6pm door, 8 bands finished at 11:30. Swung the big hammer last night yay me. Tomorrow night is steak night over to the church house. Thus steaks are marinatin’ and beer is a chillin’. I shall go over a little early to prep and bake **N.O.T.** , make sallit, ready the grill and grill the traditional smoked sausage appetizer. I look forward to this. **Doggio** , thank you for the ginger rice recipe! I made it tonight, with regular rice, and it goes perfectly with the asian-flavored crock-pot boneless ribs MrTao made. Fantastic!! So, while I _did_ want sushi, now I just want more of this 🙂 **Flytrap** , are you saying you’re vegetarian? 😃 ‘cause I can totally imagine a flytrap hanging around the aquarium just waitin’… **Swampy** , maybe you can share that ‘smoked sausage appetizer’? 🙂 Oh, and weather…muggy and hot, same as it’s been for a while. Fish isn’t food. It smells bad, like cleaning an aquarium. I tried to eat salmon for years to please Mrs. Plant v.2.0. Evile, like she. You wimps are going to bed at 7:00 CST. I got vision, and the rest of the world wears bifocals. :smack: ---
