I’m in the Philly area. It’s jungle hot. Tarzan couldn’t take this kind of hot. Hotter than a docker’s armpit. This is the kind of weather where nobody has to fake the funk. Drink lots of fluids, stay away from alcohol and caffeine, stay indoors. ---

Same in my part of Florida - say, **TroubleAgain** , how close is your part of FL to the northeast corner?? Anyway, it’s s’posed to be mid-80s today, chance of rain later, but I’m still seeing sun for now. Typical rain pattern is for me to be caught in a downpour halfway between my building and my car with no place to go… ---

Well here in beautiful downtown Montréal, under a hazy, cloudy sky, it’s 30C (86 for metric-impaired people) with a humidex factor of 34. As I’m getting ready to go to work, the weatherman warned us that it would go up to the mid-30s by the end of the week. I **hate** heatwaves. Can’t wait for Fall. ---

Well it’s 33C / 92F and climbing with high humidity. _This_ is the reason I saved some of my time off. I’m turning off the computer, sneaking out the back door of the office, and accidentally leaving my pager behind. Time for a swim… BTW, **Ginger** , Roast may need to cook for several hours (good) but the temperature is normally upwards of 300F (very bad)😉 ---

It was 98 degrees here today in SE Michigan. It has been in the 90’s all week and it hasn’t really rained at all this summer, so the grass in my yard is mostly dead now. They have a watering ban here too, so I can’t even water my lawn to try and rescue it. ---

It’s 77 here now. Supposed to be about 90 with a heat index of 100-110 again tomorrow here in sunny SE Iowa. the weather guy said we may get some rain from hurricane Barry. Very unusual for us to get anything except stagnatated weather systems from a hurricane that hits florida. ---

It’s supposed to get into the mid-90’s today, tomorrow and Thursday. (That would be what? 8º C?) With enough humidity to float a pig. Stupid Hurricane Barry. (Barry is a hurricane now, isn’t he? If not, stupid Tropical Storm Barry. Either way Barry is stupid.) -Rue. P.S. If your name is “Barry”, I’m not saying _you_ are stupid. Unless you are a giant weather system that’s pumping hot, wet air out of the Gulf and spewing it at me. Then you _are_ stupid. God save the Queen. ---
