I will throw in some new usernames, and am curious if people have any perceptions of me, too: **astro** = agent provocateur; always posts threads with intriguing titles to spark discussion - a thin guy, dark hair, goatee and glasses, wears a lot of black… **Cal Meacham** - Trivia God **Philosphr** - New England college professor in corduroy, tweed jacket with elbow patches - kinda Kevin Kline-y from that movie recently… **Exapno Mapcase** - very well read, academic, cares a lot about breaking ideas down to their component parts **gex gex** - urban kid of indeterminate ethnic origin with baggy jeans and cool old t-shirts who listens to a ton of music - actually, that’s how I think of **Marley23** , too **BottleBlondeJeannie** - after the thread where you were wondering if you have have artistic nude photos done, it’s hard not think anything but _rrowwrrr_ **Eve** - harried, humorous, deeply thoughtful about cool early cinema. I picture a young-ish Barbra Striesand - meaning a distinctive, not classically beautiful woman who has such character and style that you can’t take your eyes off her (unless she is tripping on a sidewalk in New Jersey) Q.E.D. - Smart guy - nerdy in a cool way… ---

I’m going to clarify the last line of my previous post. It’s not that I thought bad things were associated with **Satisfying Andy Licious** … of course not. For some odd reason when ever I read **astro** , I think of astroglide[sup]tm[/sup]. Before I knew what **if6was9** was all about, I thought it meant he had a math issue. I also thought **auntie em** was old, until I started really reading her posts. The name **Loneraven** gives me a mental image of a teenage girl who is lonely and wears black all the time. **plnnr** brings to mind some one who is anal about planning things, someone who always has a list, a schedule to follow. I see **Skybum** as a sky diver , young blonde guy with no worries. Until I met **Cajun Man** , I thought he was a back woods, from the deep south kinda guy. **Johnny Bravo** is a cartoon character. So is **cartoonaverse**. **Max Carnage** is a character from a video game that is really violent. **CrankyAsAnOldMan** reminds me of a little old lady who hates kids and laughter. ---

Since you called me out… (see sig…) **misstee** always made me think of Miss “T” , or a girly way to spell misty (which it is…) Since she’s married I don’t want to say what else I think about her. :eek: **Lobelia Overhill** makes me think of Bilbo’s nasty greedy cousin. Not her, just the name. **Flamsterette** makes me think of a con woman, as in Flim-Flam. I’m with the Nazi Dominatrix crowd on **Ilsa\_Lund**. Sorry dude! ---

**CrankyAsAnOldMan** (since she organized the Great SDMB Bookswap) is like the friendly librarian from your childhood. **Johnny Bravo** is like the cartoon character on Cartoon Network, complete with the Elvis accent and huge blonde pompadour. **Cajun Man** is like Emeril LaGasse. Whenever I read the name **Ilsa\_Lund** , I can’t help but think of Ingrid Bergman’s character from _Casablanca_. And obviously, **auntie em** makes me think of _The Wizard of Oz_. She’s gotta be about 60-65 years old, right? 😉 **BottleBlondeJeannie** I am positive must look just like Barbara Eden from _I Dream of Jeannie_. **SanguineSpider** also reminds me of _Charlotte’s Web_. Of course, all these posters are going to hate me now… ---

I guess I must have just glommed on to the first part and thought it was “flamester.” That and the poster **lno,** who is _not_ Ino. Now if I mention someone in a post, I usually paste it into my post rather than risk misspelling it. So let me paste in **Lobelia Overhill** and say that for no particular reason I think of a stately loblolly pine.
