I love the little bastards. At my work, my boss will bring in a case or two every so often in the mornings in lieu of donuts, and THAT my friends, is the true breakfast of champions. Sliders and coffee. Nothing like starting the day out by cleaning out your system. Two weeks ago I even drew up a schematic for him for the price of a case of them. (shared by all, of course) Also have one down the road from the house for those “gotta have some now” moments. They are even better when you leave em sit on the counter for a few hours to get cold and congealed into one lump of goo. I’m working on a “slider casserole” at home too. I think I have a decent recipe figured out and will try it soon. ---

Here’s the odd thing, though. They don’t ‘slide’ through me like they do with my hubby and rest of the family. I must have such a whacked out digestive system that sliders are welcome treat that it likes to entertain for a while. God I love them. Sliders. Yay ---

I am shocked that this thread got more than 3 replies. I didn’t know there were so many of you out there. I feel sick _just driving by_ a White Castle. Ergh. ---

White Castle rules! We call them “Gut Bombs” in my family. I once continued dating a girl longer than I wanted to because she lived around the corner from the only White Castle in town. I am a sad, sad man. ---

Here in the ghetto of Cincinnati there are 2 within 5 minutes of me. After I DJ gigs we always head over to one of them for the big $15 family meal with 20 burgers and 4 onion chips. It never ceases to amaze me that we have to wait for 30 minutes in the drive through at 3:00am because there are lines going around the parking lot. 10 or 12 of those burgers make good company with the 30 or so beers downed beforehand. ---

There are no White Castles close to my hometown…so a local radio station, once a year, sponsors a [“fly in”](http://www.twodorks.com/gallery/yum/index.html) of the stuff from Indiana…apparently it’s a popular treat… ---
