My experience with ordering flowers is that they’ll be either delivered at 7:30 PM, or you’ll get home to find a “we missed you” sticker on the door. ---

Maybe, it was so out of character, she turned the delivery guy away saying “There must some someone else named **VWife** in this neighborhood” (I was going to say she fainted from the surprise, but you’d posted that you’d spoken to her) **Happy Vunderversary!** and **Happy Birthday Cap’n!** ---

Looks like I’ll be on the road next week, making the home-Johnstown, PA-Rochester, NY, home circuit with my sweetie. Daughter will housesit/catsit/fishsit for us. I see a lot of knitting being done. ---

When you try to start the car, what do you hear? Total silence or a brisk cranking noise (as if it’s out of gas) could be any of many possibilities, including being out of gas. Or some signal’s not right with the computer and the computer’s not allowing the ignition or the fuel injectors to run. A loud CLACK! when you turn the key is almost always a bad starter. And usually pretty simple to fix. Came home to find an enigma on the floor. One of the dogs had chewed up a piece of paper that looked like a master list for fortune cookies. It was even printed in red, and had phrases like When good camera, take pictures. A good day is happy like \ \ happy soul. No idea where this came from. Maybe there used to be a fortune cookie factory in this house? Wouldn’t surprise me, seeing as we already know about the moving company and some sort of physical fitness enterprise that we get junk mail for. ---

Happy Stuff! 😃 Having exceedingly silly weather today, was going to spend the day with friends and their small one doing gardening stuff, but it kept hailing and raining and thunderinging… then getting beautiful blue skies ten minutes later, and luring us into a false sense of security. Got some stuff done, and none of us got too soaked, stunned by hail, or hit by lightning, so that was good. Found lots of interesting wriggly things to keep small one busy too. I didn’t get round to planting any of the stuff I was planning to plant, but I have not much to do tomorrow so can do it then- I do have to go to the library to see if this stupid computer course I’m s’posed to be doing works on their computers, cos I can’t get the damn thing working on mine, but it’s limited to one hour daily of free use, which gives me a lot of day. S’posed to be all sunny and everything! 🆒 Happy tuesday, those who don’t have an official special day! ---

Fortunately where I am going today it’s warm and sunny so that’s fine with me. I’m off to take the cats to the moggery for their little holiday and then I am heading to the airport for my flight to Hungary. Woot! Just got to put some new stuff on the MP3 thingie for the journey and finish packing stuff. I’ll be gone until the middle of next week, so do what **Moooom** tells you and try not to trash the place. And whatever you do, don’t leave **Lunch** alone with the goat and squid, and keep the door to 340 locked! ---
