Oddly enough, I didn’t overeat yesterday. Probably because there was nothing particularly special - just the usual boring fare my family is known for. Honest-to-goodness, my mother didn’t want me to bring peas-n-carrots because apparently the combination was too much for some people to handle. If we eat there next year, I’m making a sweet potato casserole for sure. Lucky for me, I have some, so I’ll make a small casserole for me and my sweetie - maybe I’ll do that today… ---

**bobbio** , you couldn’t pay me enough to go to Wally World today. I dropped the carafe to my coffee maker yesterday morning and smashed it to smithereens. I ordered one online today and will make coffee using a saucepan in place of the carafe until the new model arrives because I’m not brave enough to hit WW, Target or KMart. In other news, I’m back at irk, at least until lunch time. Got the emails read, the bulletin board up and set up training for the system changes that took place in my absence. ---

Back from the dentist. The good news is that the tooth can probably be saved with a root canal. The bad news is that the swelling and pain are from a nasty abscess. I had a nice Thanksgiving. I worked my tail off, but it was very much appreciated and everyone had a good time. My daughter, son-in-law, two of their friends, my son and, of course my husband were here to celebrate the day. There was a lot of food, everyone really enjoyed it, and we all had lots of laughs. I don’t plan to do anything today but relax, maybe do some reading, or just watch TV. My son is either going back across the state today or tomorrow. He has an appointment to meet with a legislator tomorrow, so I’m thinking he’d better head back across today, but we’ll see what he decides. We’re going to celebrate a friend’s birthday tomorrow and that should be nice. We’re going to another friend’s house because she wants to host the celebration and show off her new wood floors. Well, they’re actually refinished floors. She had the carpet torn out and lucky her had wood floors beneath. That’s one of the benefits to having an older home. I’d love to have wood floors. I’m sick to death of carpeting. It just gets nasty after awhile, especially if you’re a dog owner. You can clean and clean it, but the stains always start to come back. ---

N.O.L. has been ingested. I’m countin’ that as a completed chore because it involved puttin’ stuff on a plate, usin’ the nukulator, eatin’, then havin’ to wash two plates and two forks. Oh and puttin’ stuff back in da fridge. This makes it a complex multi-task chore. 😃 ---

They ran off for 15 minutes of silence whence they came back to resume their meowing & **WHAM** again; every 15 minutes, like clockwork until I decided to get up. I opened the door & walk to the kitchen, which was not easy to do as they’d rub their way between my legs, _very_ affectionately. I’d feed them & then they’d want nothing to do with me until unbelievably early hour the next day. Stoopit cats! ---

My cat doesn’t bother me early in the morning, but I have a bedroom that the cat isn’t allowed in, I often sleep with earplugs, and there are other household members who can feed the cat. ---

My girls sleep between my knees and on my feet. It’s nice because they’re toasty warm. On the other hand, going to the bathroom in the middle of the night is a bit challenging because I don’t want to step on them. And they like to wrestle for territory. On a completely unrelated note, I survived the dentist this afternoon. It was gross and painful, but it’s over. I should feel better soon.
