I know this thread is for posting what you’ve done today, but I’ve accomplished so little. There’s a bottle of vodka in the freezer for some reason. Not mine, obviously. If I hadn’t quit drinking I’d probably be attacking it right now. It’s beyond tempting. And yes, I know drinking in the morning is wrong, but it hasn’t stopped me before. I just want to die. ---

**{{{Midget}}}** come in here and carry on all you want. We lurves ya! **red** scattered, smothered, covered chunked is wunnerful, but I likes me some WH pee-kahn waffles! Also, scattered, smothered, covered chunked sounds like somebody threw up on some hashbrowns. 😃 The most dramatic of all drama queens I (and everyone who knows him) know is tryin’ to wrangle an invite to Turkey Day at da cave. I have had four increasingly dramatic texts from him this mornin’. Out of curiosity I checked with OYKW, JDD, JDD Partner, and a couple of others, and DQ is also drama textin’ them. The general consensus is **AWW HELLS NAW!!!** Really we have very, very, very little to do with him because he is such a tiara wearin’ drama queen. I texted him to say sorry, but there’s no room to accomodate anybody else. I have also put his number on ignore because I know the DQ well enough to know he’ll start with not only texts but voicemails. I shudder to think how many times he may have called my landline already. I think I shall check landline vms and ignore his number there as well. Not even he would have the nerve to just show up Thursday. I think. He’s been to da cave twice in the whole time I’ve lived there. The last time he rode in on a whole herd of drama llamas in full DQ tiara wearin’ regalia, he was given the choice of leavin’ on his own or courtesy of the local constabulary. Just why would he even _think_ he could get an invite. Oh yeah, tiara wearin’ DQ who believes the world revolves around him. :rolleyes: Other than that it’s been a typical irk day. How Y’all doin’ (in a non-flirtative way, of course)? ---

**Midget** , if you know there’s a problem with how you view the world, then you have the power to change it. If you need the help of a profesional thereapist, find one. Otherwise, is there someone you trust enough to talk to? A clergyman? A professor? A bartender? (remember, though, if you choose the third option, stick to gingerale. 😉 ) ---

Yeah, there used to be people I could talk to, but I kind of fell through the cracks lately. And there are things I wouldn’t want to tell a therapist, so that kind of scares me. I don’t know. I should kick my own butt and try to get around to doing stuff today. ---

My sister’s scooter is done. **MOOOOOOM** you really should tie a bunch of pink and purple ribbons on the handle bars. 😃 I have decided that my new favorite function on my cell and landline is ignore. It tends to decrease drama. Also, N.O.L. has been ingested and tummy is happy for now. OYKW and I made the executive decision to attempt pound cake bakeage tomorrow evenin’ instead of tonight. Thus tonight I shall do stuff like boil up the turkey innards (the neck, liver, and such) so’s there will be turkey broth, plus the innards with which to make the giblet gravy. I shall also cook the collard greens tonight cause they’re best when cooked ahead and heated up to eat. Sounds like a thing to do on a rainy, dreary evenin’ does it not? Ok, back to irk. ---

\*\*swampy \*\*- I wish I could find the perfect set of streamers for her handle grips. I must think on it. I just discovered my ignore function and I used it for the first time yesterday. I shall press it into service often! Towels are folded and put away. FIL will have his other knee replaced in January. That’s the updates from here. I think I’ll go crochet for a while. The butter for the cookies is still a bit stiff. ---

**spidey** fwiw DQ is also one of my names for a cow. I just had another conversation with a participant about how I cannot help him access the website so he can view or print out paystubs. I have no idea of anyone’s username or password as each person sets up his/her own account. Mind you, I help a lot of people set up accounts but when it gets to the choose username and password part of it all, I make each person put in his/her own. I do not know them, I do not need to know them, I do not want to know them. I even provide paper and pen so that each person can write down the username and password should the person so desire. After that all I can do is point to the toll free number that will put you in call center hell. If I forgot my own I’d have to do the same thing. Sigh. I work with “mature” adults folks. ETA: **BBBobbio** this one is Disney World on Gay Day drama. ---
