I’m sure that the people living in places like [Beringia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beringia) and [Doggerland](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doggerland) might have thought the world was coming to an end if they saw the rate of the ice receding and the ocean rising and the mammoths disappearing, but the would wasn’t coming to an end then, and it isn’t coming to an end now. ---

I’ll be sitting here. We actually have a family pact, for everyone to get here. I can’t leave, my insulin is here. When that runs out I’m dead anyway, in about 3 days. But I have enough foid stockpiled to feet a small group for several weeks. After that we’ll have to rely on hunting and gathering. If it’s total destruction all at once? I guess I’ll die like everyone else. ---

On one hand, I would be witness to the biggest thing to ever happen to us since our rise. On the other, no one to share it with. I don’t know the specifics of this ending, so I’m not sure what I’d do. ---
