I have a couple of other contenders but I assume that I may only have one official entry? There’s some honorary mentions I’d love to post if permissible, however I wouldn’t want to accidentally “take” someone’s future submission. There’s one site I’ve run across that is the epitome of odd and pointless, yet vaguely intriguing. I’ll hold off on it, though, until the contest is drawing to a close. Unless otherwise allowed, that is. ---

I like the idea of just 1 submission per SDMB member. (Still, if the popularity of this thread tapers off, perhaps we’ll be allowed additional entries). Okay here’s mine: [The Pylon of the Month Website](http://users.tinyonline.co.uk/bigh/bigh/pylonof.htm) One problem with that site is that it only was only active for about a year and a half, with the final pylon photograph posted in December, 2000. (Luckily they had the presence of mind to keep it online through the years). Well you be the judge. (It’s a “must see” for _all_ pylon enthusiats.) ---

**Frank** Judging from my posting (and everyone else’s), I thought it was clear that we were expresing an homage to these sites. Seriously Frank, where do _you_ go if you need to find pylon information? These websites are a source of information that cannot be found elsewhere on the Internet. ---

I submit the [website](http://www.lennonmurdertruth.com/) that explains the “truth” behind John Lennon’s murder. There’s even a book (okay, a 24 page booklet, but still…the guy put some effort into it.)
